This certification program is designed for project workers employed by the contractor, who wish to obtain knowledge and skills about mechanical as well as abrasive blast cleaning and protective coating application. The training includes the operation of airless spray equipment incorporating the use of a paint simulator and actual hands-on spraying. While using the simulator you will learn the proper technique for airless spray painting by using a program that simulates real life situations and equipment used in the field.

  • Proper spray techniques
  • Proper mixing techniques
  • Different methods of painting such as by brush, rollers, conventional and airless spray guns.
  • A general understanding of corrosion, its causes and remedies.
  • Different types of paints, their compositions and protective action
  • Safety and safe working conditions as well as health hazards and their preventive measures.
  • The course will be inclusive of a week of extensive practical training.
  • Basic mathematics for fundamental calculations, conversions and quantity survey will also be covered.
